As i lay in bed and start to cry
I replay the moment you said goodbye
He told me he loved me, but he had to go
for he found someone else and i was too slow
And as he turned apon his heel,
I told him i loved him
And understood. So i told him he must go
He started to cry
And right then and thr i wanted to die
And too this day i still know the number of footsteps he took
when he walked away, and the tears that fell down my face that day!
