Black tears fall down
From tired eyes,
As silence speaks
Its lullaby
Now and forever
It sings to me,
As it whispers
Its sweet soft melody
The notes fall through
The solid glass,
Shares the secrets
And how it lasts
Alone, alone,
The raspy voice chokes,
Sharing the truth
Covered in lies
The smile of silence
Oh how it shows,
The tears that lay hidden
To thick to show through
But this is the choice
I made long ago,
To listen to silence
To let my pain flow
Flow through the blood
That flows through me,
Flow through the soul
That no one can see
Hidden, my blind eyes can see
Blackness,
Darkness,
All around me
This is the choice
I chose for me,
This is the path
My crippled feet follow
Forever I’ll see
The truth that hurts,
The truth that lies,
Forever silence will sing inside of me
