Maybe he should meet your parents to show them that he really is a good guy. If they don't gain respect towards him, then just do what you wanna do. If you really like him, then date him. Take the chance or you'll regret it. Just live your life and don't let anyone stop you.

have him prove himself to them . make them gain respect for them and make sure they see hes a good guy. after a while they'll come around. if that doesnt work then you have to just tell them that you like him a lot and youre gonna be with him.

hey idk if this will help but. age doesnt matter its how you feel about them is what matters, and your parents cnt stop you from liking someone just ignore them and live ur life. if you really liek him you will do anything to be with him
