*James mumbles to himself, I love her..but i gotta listen to my friends.

The next day, Beth's friend Lilya asks out James for beth.

Lilya:  Will you go out with Beth?

James: No.

Lilya: Um okay...

*James thinks to himself* " What did I just do! Oh no!!!!

The last day of school comes, and its time for yearbook signing


Beth and Lilya are walking around and getting people to sign their yearbooks. James keeps looking over at beth, in awe of her beauty.
Beth and Lilya ask James to sign their yearbooks. Beth seems completely normal...which is wierd to james. James can barley speak to beth hes so nervous. Beth smiles and says thank you sweetly. James heart melts with his passion for her.
When the final bell rings, James takes a final look at Beth. She's laughing. He thinks to himself " Man do I love her".

Beth catches his eyes on her.

Later that summer:

James is sitting at the 4th of July Dinner table. His grandpa asks james about beth. James acts strangly about Beth, as if somethings wrong. James's dad notices and decides to take him out for a walk later.

James and his fathers walk:

James dad puts his arm around him and asks what happened. James tells him, fighting off tears. James and his dad come to a creek and sit. James's dad consols him and tells him a story about when he liked a girl his friends didnt like. He said he did the exact same thing, and he felt guilty. Once james was better, they walked back. It was time to attend the fire works.

The fire works:
James sits in a chair waiting for the fire works to begin. He watches, and he sees beautiful beth, sitting in the distance. He tells his dad, and he walks over to Beth. Beth looks up surprised.
"James...uh hi!"
"Hey, do you got a moment?"
"Umm sure"
James takes beth to a private place

"Beth, you know what happened that last day. Well I didn't mean it at all. I like you alot..I really do. Its just that I was being a idiot and listened to my friends..and told you no. But I was stupid and I shouldn't of said that..I"
Beth reaches for james and hugs him.
The fire works begin in the sky...and between them.
