you should really tell him but let him know if anything happens that you stil wanna be friends..and like xblondiex52295 said it shouldnt affect you if you guys are really good friends. So just explain it too him and everything will work out...trust me.

you havee to tell him. If you keep putting it off, you guys are gonna get older, if he's that awesome as you say he is, he's gonna have girls all over him. If he liked you last year, who's to say that he won't like you this year? Normally that feeling doesn't go away. He probably still has faith if he still talks to you like you say he does. just go for it. when he did it, it didn't ruin your friendship. when you do it, he'll probably say yes but if he doesn't, then it still probably won't ruin it anymore then it did last time
