in the eye of
the beholder <3
and in the night she used to cry
for everything that she let die,
the flame was out, the dream was dead
and she would weep upon her bed.
her beauty now comes from within
and shines brightly throughout her skin,
and though he broke her fragile heart
she knew her place right from the start.
