Ok, so like there are people who say they are Korean, but really they just want to be Korean. Before I get bs about this- I'm Korean myself. Like honestly, the kpop world and kdramas have invaded this place we so call 'America'. People want to be Korean. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's to the extent where people claim they ARE Korean, and hide their real race. To the point where they disown their real race to be Korean. Nonono. Please. Sometimes they say they are half Korean, but they don't even look half Korean tbh. If your mom and dad are both full (insert race here), it would actually show in your genetics. Your dad's or mom's genes CANNOT be full on dominant genes and just make you look EXACTLY like them. That's why there is resemblence. You man have your mom's eyes or your dad's nose. That's how it works. So please, people who have been trying to talk to me in Korean- you don't know Korean and it's wrong. You've been using google translate for all that I know. We find it disprespectful that people are using that inaccurate pile of dump to talk to us. If we know English, just speak to us in English. It won't make us like you more if you speak to us in Korean. Just saying. rant over bye.

It makes me think of those "weeboos" I think people call them; who want to be japanese. They do japanese things & claim to be japanese. Don't get me wrong I love Korean culture (all cultures in general) but don't think I could ever claim to be something I am not. It's like, "Are you ashamed of your own culture to claim to be that of another's?" Plus I also have to say if they really wanted to try and talk to you in Korean is to learn the alphabet & writing system. It isn't that hard, it can be learned within a few hours (or so I have been told.) Overall I agree with you 100%.

The Korean alphabet is not easy to learn. And to write. You have to combine them to make one syllable. There's a certain order to write the syllable too. It's hard.

But yeah, they are weeaboos but I call them Koreaboos.

Actually it is really easy to learn, granted everyone is different. I should know, I've been told by people who have literally learned it within a matter of hours. And some of these people have lived in Korea. Like I said, every person is different, what maybe difficult for one person can be easy for another.

I personally love Korean things cause the culture is amazing but I'm proudly Mexican I don't claim to be Korean I mean who ever does claims to be Korean and isn't is kinda wellll....dumb Haha you don't need to be a certain race to experience their culture so I completely agree with you
