Love's ephemral beauty held us captivated in that lonley
place.
The evanescence coiled its way into my bones.
I know you felt it also,
from the way you so intently held my gaze,
with your revrant aesthetics.
Maybe I can save you.
Maybe I can give you solitude in this
one forever of a second.
But once you looked away,
this ostentanious moment
thinned away like
water to sidewalk chalk.
And i went back
to being a lonley
shell of all we
could be,
but never
are.
