Serenity

The sky goes dark,

Rays of moonlight shine down.

Light paints the tops of trees, buildings and houses.

Trees dance in the faint light as the wind whirls wildly.

Street lights slowly dim then go black.

Birds softly sing a song of the night.

Peaceful,

Calm,

Lovely.

It soon passes the midnight hour.

Nothing is moving,

No one is talking,

The town is sound asleep curled in their soft,

Warm,

Cozy beds
