What is love?
Really?
Is it the feeling you get
When you look into his eyes?
Or the sound of the happiness
Emitting from you after a good day?
Is it the butterflies in your stomach
When he smiles at you?
Is it the ocean that seems like a puddle?
Or the puddle that seems like an ocean?
Is it the warmth and the comfort
Of a cozy night in?
Or the fun and excitement
Of a crazy night out?
To me, love is none of these things
To me, love is hurt
And pain
And lonliness
And sadness
Because that's all I feel right now
That's all I've ever felt
So I don't know any different
