as it looks.
hours of
learning technique, constantly being judged, putting your
hair in a bun, competing with yourself, itchy costumes, learning
choreography, rediculous amounts of make-up, sweating like
there's no tomorrow, getting a run in your 16$ tights, months
practicing the same routine over and over, breaking in new
shoes, loosing a tiny headpiece that goes with a costume and being
yelled at like you're going to hell, breathing will smiling and
dancing and concentrating, looking in a mirror judging yourself for
hours on end, picking songs to dance to, not recognizing girls in
your dance class out of class because their hair isnt in a
bun,
going to stupid workshop
conventions..
