Chapter 6

Melody floated in front of the hospital doors. Weightless air carried her. Her thoughts ran wild in her empty mind. Why did my dad not listen to me? Melody asked herself. She knew she was dead, but couldn’t accept it. The hospital doors opened and she could finally get out. Melody wasn’t yet dead enough to be able to fly through things. But the sensors wouldn’t pick her up for she had no body heat. “It’s impossible, why aren’t I an angle in heaven? Why am I stuck on the piece of crap called earth?
Mean while Tyson was mourning over the death of Melody. Hot tears feel from his soaked eyes. His head was pounding and his whole body was shaking. Just then Melody’s father walked through the doors. “I am so sorry Sir. I shouldn’t have left.”
“Don’t worry son. I’m to blame.” Orlando-the father of Melody-looked half dead, his hair was clumps of grease and his body was paper white. Orlando’s teeth were a rotten orange for he had not brushed his teeth for a week. Orlando and Tyson sat on the hard chairs until a sassy nurse woman came to greet them.
“Would you like to see your daughter?” she asked, “I know you are grieving but I’m free?” Orlando looked at the thing in disgust.
“You have no right to come and tell me you’re ‘free’ when my little girl has just died. You have no right you selfish cow!” Orlando was just about to smack the woman when he was taken away by security. Tyson shot him a sympathetic look before closing his eyes and falling into a deep sleep.
Melody was invisibly walking around London. She had stolen: sparkling top and black jeans with some red sneakers. For she thought that they would make her stand out. Yet no one noticed her still. While she was still a ghost, Melody though she could have some fun. Maybe she could haunt some people? “I wish I was something different, like a bug or whatever,” Melody murmured. Wishing she was in heaven or hell, Melody sat on the side of the pavement just as a bike ran through her. “Really classy!” she exclaimed to God. If I can’t walk through things then maybe that means I can pick up things! Melody thought to herself. Hurriedly, she ran to a woman and took off her hat. The ugly hat didn’t fall from her hands, yes!
“Hey! Who took my hat?” the fat woman bellowed, her stomach flopping around like the sea. The beast’s small arms waved trying the get grasp of the hat, only to reach the oxygen that surrounded her. By now Melody was miles away, and the foul thing was still placed on her head. She shook it off and let it fly to the floor.

I floated to the ground knowing I wouldn’t sink further than that. Then I listened to a man’s conversation in a restaurant.
“Yes, yes I know Stephanie. I know I’m never home, but I’m working! No I’m not sleeping with another woman! There is no one but you!” the male was silent for a while. I heard the womans squeaky voice,
“Well I know you Gabe! You just can’t be trusted. We are over!”
“But…” and then he closed his phone as sulkily walked away.
“The brats in London…Urgh I am so ashamed.” I hissed in disappointment.
When Tyson woke up again, a beautiful young adult was next to him. She has glossy deep red hair, passionate grey eyes and was fairly skinny. She was staring at him with awe, and then she grinned when she noticed him looking back at her. Tyson didn’t notice that his jaw had dropped until she moved her hands to close his mouth. Her skin was silk and her voice was velvet.
“The name is Vanessa. Come with me.” and with that, she took his hand and led him to her car which was out of sight. Tyson didn’t notice what was happening, he wasn’t on earth. Vanessa’s downy lips pressed against his while Tyson wrapped his arms around her waist. Vanessa let out a little moan as Tyson slipped his tongue into her mouth.
