thank you. no for real. all my life I could not figure out why people wanted too. I thought they thought ''it's cool'' ''im emo'' but in a very science kind of way, that makes sense. I can't stress how much I have wanted to know why

When you cut, it releases chemicals throughout the body to calm you, and relax you, even though it causes physical self harm, and pain, after you do it, it calms you, and the deeper you go the stronger the chemical is. It's an addiction, kind of like smoking and drinking.
