It's about this girl called Mara Dyer (obviously) and she's the only one of her friends to survive a terrible accident. Then she wakes up in a hospital with no idea how she got there. She moves to Miami to start over. She also suffers from PTSD and Schizophrenia, and tries to hide the hallucinations from her family and stuff. It's really epic, all the stuff she goes through.
