I advise going to a dietician.
They set a certain amount of calories to eat daily for weight loss. Don't just go off your own number.

Well a few foods that make you gain weight that you should avoid are are LOW FAT peanut butter (because the low fat takes out all the good fats in peanut butter that help you lose weight, so when you buy low-fat peanut butter your actually just getting peanut butter that makes you gain weight), margarine makes you gain weight b/c of the preservatives so stick to natural butter, whole wheat bread is said to be good for you but it also make you gain weight, and concentrated orange juice makes you gain weight because once it is all processed, by the time it gets to your house and fridge all it is is sugar water. Those are things that most people think will help them lose weight but actually make them gain weight.
Natural fats like regular peanuts, avocados and non-supplemented foods will actually help you lose weight. So natural fats make you lost extra fat.
And stay away from foods with high fructose corn syrup, trans fat, and hydrogenated oil. Those are all bad for you and just nasty preservatives in food.
Those are just some tips for food eating ^ Eat healthy foods and a lot of fruits, vegetables, and try to drink more water than soft drinks.
And work out for like 3-6 times a week because that is naturally what your body needs to stay fits. Go for jogs or swims, And your don't have to stop this after you reach the weight you want to be just turn it into habits.
Also to tones your stomach more do ab exercises every day or two. It's not always about being skinny, it's about being healthy too!
Woah, I sound like a health freak o.o ^ but I hope it was helpful.

I use mynetdiary it's an app I have on my iPod and you can acess it from a computer too :) also, work out lots, I use to find YouTube videos and just work out with them. Also I follow weight loss stuff on Instagram and lots of the stuff helps :) also I agree with livingmylife, if possible go talk to a dieteician, it's there job to help people lose weight :) but don't starve yourself, it slows your metabolism and doesn't help you gain weight. I wish you the best of luck :)
