I wanted to know what it was about
me that made that baby in the shop stop babbling and made his Mum
shift uncomfortably, that made the lady on the checkout feel like
she had to made comforting, sympathetic small talk with me, so
when I got home I spent a long time looking in the mirror, tyring
to work out what it was they saw. But when I looked into my eyes
I didn't see anything. Nothing. And that got me thinking,
what if that's what they saw too?
