You left the door wide open
It lead right to my heart
I watched as you wandered into darkness
As I fell apart.
I followed after you,  completely blind and lost
If we ever got close to light, you'd put it out at whatever cost.
Stumbling, falling, tripping over you.
Forever I'll be scarred with the falling I did for you.
I walked back home, where I remain alone.
All that's left is the ghost of you.
It haunts the halls of my heart,
While memories whisper sweet nothings in my mind.
Over time, hopefully I will find,
That I can heal and be okay with out you.
