yeah she probabley is insecure but maybe kind of discreetly help her join clubs at school or something so she can meet other people and maybe she can move on from you

I have a friend kinda like that.
Um, I would recommend letting her have her way to a certain degree. She may also be lacking in self confidence, so try to build her self esteem.
There is a reason behind her 'attitude'; try to get her to really open up to you.
She probably just insecure.
