So today, my dad told me that when I grow up, I'm going to be a failure.
That I'm lazy, and it worries him because i'm probably not going to amout to anything.
What he doesn't understand is that this doesn't make me want to prove him wrong.
Saying that made me feel worthless and I now have two new cuts on my wrist.

my parents tell me that a lot, but instead it motivates me to work harder, maybe you just got the wrong message from it, your parents care for you and maybe next time you should look at the optimistic side of it, dont cut, you deserve that.

Your not a failure, dont worry, he says it to try to make you do something of yourself not to hurt you, your a beautiful person and can achieve anything, far from worthless. Dont cut, its not the way

please dont cut again, i know myself, its good for releasing pain, but it isnt the right answer. Please stop now because it gets out of hand. Get a fist full of ice cubes instead when you get the urge, just dont hurt yourself in that way again, because you arnt worthless, and your not going to be a failure. I promise you <3
