Can you imagine? Can you imagine going to school one day and your little sister, brother, neighbor, best friend gone? What about that little boy you sometimes see in the office. or the little kindergartener that gets off at the first bus stop suddenley gone? Can you imagine being so young and before you even know what life is it is all taken from you? Can you imagine being a parent dropping your kid off at school for a few hours only to find out that car ride to school was the last time you would ever see your child? Some of us have never had someone close to us die, let alone see someone else die right infront of our eyes. What about the kids that didnt see anything? What about those kids that had their innocence taken from them by the simple sound of what seemed like falling cans? What will become of them? Whos there to comfort them when they dont know what happened and dont know how to make sense of it all? What if all of us came together and donated a toy, stuffed animal, or blanket with a note of incouragement to those brave little angels that survived? What if we had the power to change their small confused face into a smile? Even if its for just a moment? I know its something big and it probably will be hard to accomplish but I know that we have to try. So if anyone wants to help or has any suggestions please comment.
