I missed Peeves in the film and Winky and like nearly all of my favoruite lines and moments from the books weren't even in the films.

I LOVE Pigwidgeon! He's so cute!! <3 and they also left out SPEW! And all the elves in the kitchen, and when Kreacher came back to fight for Harry in the Battle of Hogwarts with all the Hogwarts House-Elves :)

During Latin class we were talking about a deriv for 'peterritus' (frightened) and my teacher said how 'petrified' is one, so I started saying how in Harry Potter they had the Petrificus Totalus spell, and everyone was just like ...wtf you nerd. It was so funny xD

I was beyond that they didn't at least have a peeves to say "We did it we bashed him wee Potty's the one! Now Voldy's gone moldy so now lets have fun!" at the end of 7 pt 2, or have McGonnagal (sp?) say "It unscrews the other way," in the 5th

Or Fred and George demolishing the hallway in Order of the Phoenix and Peeves saluted them as they flew away...OR the duel in Sorcerer's (Philosopher's) Stone between Harry and Draco that didn't happen because Peeves showed up and Draco had tricked them...I loved when Harry impersonated the Bloody Baron to scare off Peeves!

its not that they didnt bother to explain, it's that they made the movies for the people that were fans of the book, cause you need them to fully understand the movies. Whereas if you never read the books and just watched the movies you'd get confused and lost at times
