This is so true. I cut to get rid of the pain even if it's just for a second. The blood & the pain takes my mind off of everything. After it's done, everything comes back.

Sometimes cutting is the only thing you have control over. The one thing that you have all to yourself, it's yours. Your the only one who can stop it, your the only one that can drag the blade. Control is it; sometimes it's not even the cut. It being able to do something no one but you can control xx

And how do you think people will stop doing it? By constantly posting about it on a public website? By constantly imposing this kind of thoughts in people's brains?
I don't believe you should keep this to yourself, but I also don't think you should broadcast it on the internet like it's something to show off. You should talk about this with a psychiatrist and your family and get some help, not publicize it on a website filled with 10 to 16-year-olds susceptible to it. I believe that if certain teenagers had the decency to make less of an issue out of it in public (mostly on the internet), less young people would do such harmful acts.
It's a serious mental disorder that we shouldn't be exposed to at such young ages.
