I wholeheartedly support gay rights and women's rights. I'm a woman, I want the freedom to do as I wish with my body. Don't forget that state governments rule on these issues, NOT the federal government, so the president really has no jurisdiction in that department. I'm more concerned about the ecomomy: the national debt has tripled under the Obama administration, his health care bill is horrendous, and the job market is awful. I want a secure job when I graduate from college and I never want to see my mother cry over taking a $14,000 pay cut at work ever again. I'm sick of being attacked for merely voicing my opinions, when Obama supporters clearly have no reservations in voicing theirs without consequence, sending death threats and belittling those who disagree with them, and I'm sick of people "supporting Obama" when they have no idea what they're talking about. But I, like you, would not disassociate myself with a someone over opposing political opinions. That's all I'm saying.

I am an Obamama myself because of my beliefs about LBGT and women's rights, and because I believe that, had Romney been president for the last term, he would have done exactly the same things Obama has been criticized for (see below comment) Also, it's not like Obama has actually been bad financially for the country - he just hasn't been as good as he promised. He has lowered unemployment, he has made good changes, but just not done as well as expected. However, I completely agree with what you say, I think it's disgusting to go around hating on Romney voters just because they have a different opinion to you. In the end, it's a democracy, everyone's entitled to a choice. I personally am horrified by Romney's views on abortion, gay marriage, gay people in general and children being raised by same - parents, but I will by no means disassociate myself with someone just because they support Romney.

We just find it interesting that you would actually root for a guy who doesn't have a real plan for the future. who just lies to make people happy.
