Aubree's Point of View

I shuddered at the familiar voice. No. It couldn't be. I felt the arms wrap around my waist. "What do you want." I whispered as Aiden came in front of me. "You Aubs." Mason came running down to me, putting the towel over my shoulders and pulling me into his grasp. "Who are you?" They both asked at the same time. "Her boyfriend!" They yelled at each other. Wow, that was weird.

"Aubree.. We weren't over... I told you I'd stop drinking and baby I did. I can't live without you. Please come home." Aiden said. I could tell he was being honest. He looked so much better. I could see the Aiden I had fallen in love with all those years ago. "She has a new home now." Mason said sternly. "Mason let me talk to him alone please." I said. Mason hesitated, but walked back up to where our blanket was set up.

"Aiden, you can't just come crawling back. After everything you did to me." "But babe I've missed you so much. I need you. I love you.." Tears welled up in my eyes. Aiden began to wipe them away. "Please don't cry, a beautiful girl like you shouldn't be crying." Aiden said, pulling me into him. "You're the reason for the tears." I said, not pulling away. "I know I am. But I want to be the reason they stop. I promise you things can go back to normal. I was stupid.. I should have never done those things to you, and you'll never know how sorry I am. Baby it won't happen again. Please come back."

I cried harder into his chest. I smelled his familiar smell, and all the memories came flooding back. The good and the bad. I felt him kiss the top of my head softly. Mason returned to us. "Are you quite done yet?" He mumbled to Aiden before pulling me back into his arms. "Shh Bree it's okay" He whispered into my ear. I began to stop crying as I was in Mason's arms.

I was so confused right now. I had a history with Aiden. I used to love him more than anything, and he was the same to me. But then I would never be able to forget all of the things he did to me. Was he serious that he wanted me back so bad? But then there was Mason. I hadn't known him for long, but it feels like forever. He took me in, when I had no one. Aiden spoke up, tearing me from my thoughts,

"Aubs, just please, give me one more chance, I won't let you down."
