Chapter four
The Maze of Doors
We stood there for what felt like hours, but was probably
only a couple of minutes. I looked at steve and he knew what I
was going to say. He just held a finger to his lips and walk
ahead. I followed. We slowly walked like this for a couple of
doors and didn’t speed up or slow down. I saw the bright
blue light before he did. I quietly ran ahead of him, put my hand
to his chest for him to stop and pointed to the glowing door. His
eyes went wide I gently slapped him and smiled. He smiled back
mouthed the words “thanks” and we went on our way. We
walked and walked it felt like we walked for hours! And this time
I really do think we walked for hours! We came upon four glowing
doors. One glowing green, one purple, one black, and one solid
white. We picked the black one. We walked up to the door and
opened it. It was white! Everything inside was white!
Steve’s black soot cover body would leave marks so we
turned around and picked the purple door. We opened it and we
found more doors. We just kept walking and walking, again. When
we reached a seven door intersection. We picked the fourth door,
and walked. We havent seen the blue light for a while. I was
thinking about steve and I almost ran into “IT.”
Steve stopped me and whispered “now we are even!” the
he laughed. His laugh is so adorable. But I cant think about him
now we are in danger. We walked through at least ten more
different doors I think. We could be going in circles for all I
know. But I had a feeling we weren’t. we came across
four more glowing doors. This time the colors were, orange, pink,
red and peach. We picked the orange door and it lead us to a set
of stairs!
