lunch, alone. again, of course." i texted him.

awkward."

right there with ya," he replied.
i stared at the strange message,
he wasn't here with me.
"do you mean
you sat alone at college once, too? or did you have a lot of
friends? i sure don't." i asked.
then i got a facetime call.
"now
you won't have to be
alone,"
