*Katilina’s POV*

“Hi, Shane.” I replied.

“Hi, Mem,” he quacked.

I laughed a little. “Do you have my daughter in your house?”

“No. I was actually hoping that you were her. I haven’t heard from her all day.”

“Really. Well, your girlfriend is MIA. You don’t have any idea where she is?”

“No clue. Sorry.”

“It’s okay. Thanks Shane.” I was about to hang up when he said, “Wait.” I paused. “Keep me posted, okay? I’m worried about her. She never forgets to call me.”

“Yes, sir.” I joked. “Goodbye, Mister Shane.”

“Bye Mem.”

I sighed. I’ll give her until tomorrow night. If nobody has heard from her by then, I’m calling the police and reporting her missing.
