Sie's Thoughts; Oh God, Alicia, no!
Lu's Thoughts; The one being pulled- she's
cute.
Summer is usuallly boring.
For me, anyways. It began as it always did, with the school
bell ringing; signaling the end of class, and the start of a
long, hot summer.
We - my friend Alicia and I - walked to a nearby park, where
we sat on a bench by the lake.
That's when I first saw Luca.
He was sitting with his friends, on another bench across the
lake.
When we made eye contact, I bit my lip and looked away
quickly, for I was too shy to do anything else. He looked
away, back at his friends, and said something to them.
When they all looked my way, I could see out of the corner of
my eye. I whispered to Alicia, "Oh my God, they're
all staring over here!"
She giggled. "Let's have some fun, then." And
she grabbed my hand, tugging me along with her as she got up
and made her way over to where they sat.
