This is
directed towards anyone who has ever told me that I only listen
to the music that I do because I'm "going through that
stage."
Just stop it, okay?
A lot of the adults that I know still listen to the music that
they did when they were my age. Just because the music I
listen to isn't pop - it's rock. With screaming,
growling, and breakdowns. - doesn't make it a stage.
You guys don't tell country or pop or rap listeners that
they're in a stage based on their musical preferences.
So think of that the next time you try to tell me that
I'm in that whiny teenage rock listening stage.
I won't listen to you. And if anything, I
will lose some respect for you.
