My family is moving to a new state. i'm devastated.

My mom made sure it was okay with me before we moved, i told her it was to make her happy. but it's not. I cry every single night. i feel selfish.

We already started moving our stuff in, and i'm crying writing this right now. i'm gonna miss my friends, house, school, neighbors...everything.

Will somebody give me advice? I HATE change.
We haven't sold our house yet.
I want to stay at my old house till i'm out of highschool at least. Will my mom change her mind if i talk to her?

It should work, If you just talk to her and ask her, but honestly I know probably more than anyone about moving.. I always hate it but that's my own problem since my dad is in the army. I can't disagree so much about you with moving and you know you can talk to me whenever, because I'm always here for you!

I've moved three times. All of them we're difficult, i mean moving always is. it's basically packing up your life into boxes, putting them on a truck and shipping them to God-knows-where. The second time I moved, I was in 1st grade and I moved to a place I had never even heard of-- no one had. it was hardest on my mom (we were moving because of my dad's job.) she cried for days and nights when we got there. i guess i'm telling you this because moving is hard for everyone. even if you don't see it, your mom is struggling too. it's SO stressful. so i would say talk to her, see how she's feeling and casually slip in that you don't want to move. she can probably sense that leaving your home isn't your favorite idea, so when you tell her just pretend like she already knows. sorry if this didn't help at all or that it was scary long. hope i helped! you will get through this, i promise. i'm here if you need anything.

I moved a year ago, and honestly it was the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I missed my friends and school so much. But you know it's different with everyone, eventually I moved back this January. And my parents asked if it was okay with me too, and I said it was okay for the same reason as you. I think your mom would consider changing her mind if you talked to her, my mom would've too, but I never did, and I remember always regretting that when I moved. I think you should talk to her and ask if you could stay until highschool, she might say yes, Hope I helped you out ツ
