Behind the Wolf

                                                                                        (Chapter one)

'You need to go and run the perimeter of the forest just to make sure there are no trespassers or rouges. After everything that just happend with that pack 20 miles from here I want to keep an extra look out for anything out of the ordinary.' my dads voice spoke into my head. 'Alright. do you want me to do the whole perimeter or do you want me to do half and have Alex do the other half?' i asked through our bond. 'Just go do the whole thing because everyone else is busy with other things and you need to get use to doing this if you are going to be the next alpha.'

 

I sighed slightly, not wanting to do the whole perimeter by myself because that would take about 2 hours by my self. Not wanting to argue with the alpha male (my dad) I walked out the sliding glass door to our back yard and transformed into my wolf form and started off to the east side of the land. Being in the forest of Montanna there really isn't many people or things around here, well only other animals. 

 

 

 

After I scoped out the east side I ran along the south and west side and when i came close to the north side of the land, there was a smell so sweet it about drove me crazy. I couldn't figure out what it was, maybe i was just smelling some type of animal or tree or something out in the northern part. But as I kept scoping out the land i finally heard a girls voice singing some song that I didn't know the name of. 

 

 

 

As far as I could see this girl looked to be about sixteen. As she walked through the forest her chocolate brown hair blew through the wind, making her look so damn beautiful. 

 

 

 

I slowed my pace so that i was at a slow walk. She kept walking through the forest and then the looked to her left and saw me. Expecting her to scream I crouched down so that i was laying on the forest floor and i set my head down on my front paws. She tilted her head to the right, smiled, and then walked up to me. Why wasn't she running away? I was much larger than the average wolf....

 

 

 

"Well hi there." she smiled into my eyes as  she leaned down and  petted my grey fur. 

 

 

 

In responce i rubbed my head into her knees, making her sit down on the forest floor."

 

 

 

We sat there for awhile and she just pet me. At the sound of her phone ringing, i let out a small growl, cursing about who ever was calling her. Ruining the time I had with this mysterious girl.

 

 

 

"Hey, yeah I'm on my way back, I'll be there in ten. Okay bye. " she spoke into her phone.

 

 

 

"i'm sorry, but I have to go.. Hopefully I'll see you around in these woods some more.." she smiled at me, petted me one last time and then ran from the way she came from. 

 

I ran the rest of the land i didn't scope out and then I returned home, wondering what that girls name was...
