Until I Met You

(Chapter 5)

I look up at him, "Is that what you...?"
"I don't know.." He gave a smile that told me he did know.
"Oh," I say, and run into the ocean further, he comes next to me, "See that boat?"
I point to it and he nods, "We should go for a ride."
"We'll have to ask then." He says squinting his eyes to block the sun.
"Maybe." I give him a wink and I run to the boat and grab the keys next to it.
"Hurry, get on!" I laugh, because I know the person who owns this boat, and I know Cam will be terrified.
"But, isn't this wrong?" He raises his eyebrows.
I have my key in the ignition, but I stop and think, "Nah. They won't care. Trust me." I say.
"Okay.." He says looking down at his feet worried.
"Wait, maybe I hould drive." he says.
I start backing up, and he tries to interrup, "It'll be a lot saf--
The engine starts and he jumps back, then heads forward.
I drive crazy, truth is..I've never actually driven a boat before.
"ARE YOU SURE YOU KNOW HOW TO DRIVE THIS BOAT?" He shouts over the wind.
"YEAH....." I shout back, then whisper, "no.."
10 miutes later, I'm still driving.
"UH...CAM?" I shout to him.
"WHAT? OH NO, OH NO, OH NO! SHAY WHAT'S WRONG!?!?!? OH NO, WE'RE GONNA DIE." He shouts.
"We aren't gonna die. I just don't know how to stop.."
"WHAT!? I thought you knew how to drive this thing!"
"So did I."
He takes the wheel and stops, "There we go. Safe and sound. Just floating."
I sit in the seat next to his, and he looks into my eyes but I look away, into the sunset.
I can see him looking at me out of the corner of my eye, "I just wish we could start over." He blurts.
I look back at him, he has a look in his eyes I've never before. Wait, yes I have, I remember, at the beach party 2 years ago, he looked at a girl that had a bustier on and a skimpy black skirt. He looked at her that same way he's looking at me right now.
He takes my hand, and looks down at it, "Yah know, I've been thinking."
"Yes?" I say looking at him.
He looks at me, "I know what I did to you was wrong, I just can't understand the fact that I did it to you, and why."
"It's oka, no really--
He cuts me off, "I want to start over again.. What about you?"
I focus on the wheel, "I think I...I umm...I think.."

Mine was when Cam was yelling like crazy.  I bet you loved me when you read the ending.(;  Haha!(:   The next chapter will probably be up in four days, if not, I'll explain why.
