Chapter 7

Alyson's POV
<Two weeks later> (Friday)
The dance is tonight! Eighth graders left early to get ready for our Eighth grade farewell dance. Jennifer came over after school to get ready with me. Veronica is coming over one she gets out of school to do out hair and make-up. Jen and I got our dresses on. Jen had this pretty strapless dress, with a silver sequence top, and a coral colored ruffel bottom, falling to her mid-thigh. She also wore silver diamante gladiator sandals.

"Wow Jen! You look beautiful!"
"Thanks Aly, so do you!" she said, smiling.
The doorbell rang, and Josh let Veronica in and up to my room. She was wearing pink campus pants from Pink, a black sweatshirt from Pink, and Nike running shoes. Her hair was done in a loose ponytail.

She quickly did our hair and make-up. My hair was done in a loose waterfall braid, with curls at the end. I had black eyeliner above my blue eye, and some bronze eye shadow.

Soon it was 5:30 and Chris' dad dropped him and Jacob off at my house. My mom took afew pictures and then drove us to the dance.
We got their around 6:15, arriving fashionably late. We all went our separate ways, but Jen stayed with me. I spotted Olivia. Now's the time to confront her. I started to make my way towards her.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Jen asked.
"Almost positive!" I answered. Olivia was talking to Joseph, probably trying to make Chris jealous.
"Why would you do that?" I asked, barging in.
"Do what?" Olivia answered innocently.
"You tried to steal my boyfriend! And you starte a ton of rumors about me!" I yelled, loosing my patience.
"Maybe it's because you're ugly. Or maybe it's because you're a lying, two-faced, b/tch!"
"What did I ever do to hurt you, Olivia?" I asked.
"You have Chris!" She yelled. All of the sudden she punched me in the mouth. "F/CK YOU, ALY!" Olivia screamed in my face.
I was now crying, really hard. I put my hand to my mouth. There was blood... everywhere. I ran to the bathroom, Jen following me.
