It was made for two because it physically doesn't work unless two people are using it. The person who invented this didn't say, "Now people will realize that there will always be someone there to lift you back up in life." He/she probably said something similar to, "I'm bored as f*ck, let me put this plank of wood on a rock or some sh*t and see what happens."
