Chapter 2

Olivia's POV
I looked up to see Chris slowly walking over to me. Oh my gosh, why right now?! I look terrible! He looks soo amazing! Out of all people, how could he choose Alyson?! I mean, I guess she's my friend (or she thinks she is) but Chris is always complaining about her... I bet I could treat him so much better.
Chris' POV
"Do you know what's wrong with Aly?"
"Who even cares? Hey, want to come over tomorrow after school?" she asked me. That was just about the only day I got to see Aly between her family time and basketball. Who cares, anyways? She is probably making plans with Jacob. "Sure, I'd be happy too!"
Later that day I was checking Facebook. About two hours ago Jacob texted me asking if him, Jen, Aly and I wanted to make plans, but I told him I was busy. I was checking my newsfeed, when I saw Aly ask Olivia if she wanted to hang out. Olivia answered with,
"No, Chris is coming over, sorry!<3" Oh sh/t! Alyson's going to be SO upset!
"Hey Aly<3" I texted her. No reply. She was the one to usually reply right away. I looked on her Facebook wall to see her latest status,
"I truly wish you could hear the words I'm afraid to say." I wondered what could possibly be wrong. Thirty minutes later I get a reply from her, "Hi."
"What's wrong, babe?" I answered.
"I'm just tired..."
"Tired?" I asked, "Tired of what?"
"Everything."
"I'm here if you need to talk."
"I know." she texted back.
"Good(:"
"I gotta go, ttyl, bye<3"
"Love you."
"Yeah, I hope so."
Alyson's POV
I couldn't find the strength to tell him. I wasn't the kind of person who would tell him to just stop talking to someone. I hate being the jealous type. All of the sudden my bedroom door opens.
"Dinner's ready, fat/ss." my brother yelled to me. Was I really that fat? That's not the first time I'd heard that from my family or friends.
"Thanks," I answered, "Oh, Josh?"
"Yes, ugly?"
"Can I ask you something?"
"Make it quick." he answered in a sharp tone.
"Why do you hate me? What have I ever done to you?"
"It's not that I hate you, you're just annoying, fat, and ugly."
Tears started rolling down my bright red face.
"Suck it up." Josh answered, and then left the room. " Was I really that bad?
