So, there's this guy. He's a sophmore now, and I'm a freshman now. His name is Mike. He works at the pool and I've seriously thought he was cute since last summer. Three days ago I went to the pool and he was looking at me a lot and smiling and whatnot. And then yesterday I went to the pool again and the same thing happened. And then I went again today, and the same thing happened again. I want to talk to him, but I don't know how. He seems really quiet, but I don't think he is. When I even get near him at the pool, I get nervous as to if I'm going to embarass myself in any way. So I really need tips to start a conversation with him. I think I want to ask him about freshman year, cause I'm terrified for it. What do you guys think about that?

You should go up to him & ask him if he wants to swim with you, if he says he cant while hes working say well when are you free and smile and then ask for his number(:

I think most guys come off as shy, but if you start up a conversation with him, i'd bet money that he'd think it's cute and he'd open up more as you talk to him. (being a guy myself, this is usually how things work for me anyway)
