never ever take your memories for granted. my bestfruend lost
some of hers, including me. it all started when she wanted to go
up in her attic to show me some stuff. i was going to help her
get down a box that had stuff in it we wanted to play. i started
my way towards the ladder and the next thing i knew was that she
was on the ground ( the attic "floor" had collapsed where she
was) in shock and started screaming "MOM!" repeatedly. she came,
and then we went into thier living room. she was going to get her
medicine and then she said things were starting to get blurry.
then she screamed "MOM I CANT HEAR!" then she slowly hit the
floor and then when we shook her, that is when she thought it was
2006. i asked her " Do you know who the president is?" she had to
think about it and she said "i dont like history" then i asked
her where she was. she didnt say the correct answer she thought
she was in her hometown. ( this is what hurts the most) i asked "
do you know who i am?" she looked at me and had to think about it
and said "no" we were in a dim room. i was holding onto her hand
and her brother was with her too. she said " somebody please turn
off that light!" but we were un a dim room. "should i be scared?"
she asked... i answered back saying no she shouldnt.., "keep her
eyes open, Isiah"( isiah is her brother) her mom said. "no, they
wouldnt like that." my friend said. "who wouldnt?" i said. "the
doctors" ..."there are not any doctors in here" ..... a few
minutes later the ambulance people came and when she was on the
stretcher, i was holding her hand and she looked me in the eyes
and said "are you leaving?" i answered back " yeah i have to" she
said " i dont want you to go" thats pretty much it.... i went
over to her house today and after i left i texted her shortly
after and i asked if she remembered me coming over and she says
she remembers a little..., this is a 100% true story. NEVER take
your memories for granted.
