i hate when people say, "home is whenever
i'm with you." that's bullshit. unless you live with
the person, or you're talking about a family member, or a best
friend. but if you're talking about a boyfriend/girlfriend...
do you live with this person who is home to you? no, probably not.
how long have you been with this person? a year? maybe a few
months? it just bothers me that girls' independence has
disappeared. you really need to rely on a boy to feel like
you're at "home"? home to me, is when i'm with
anybody in my family, or spending time with friends. i don't
need a boy to feel comfortable and "at home." I don't
need a boy who is the only reason i'm happy. yeah, you fight
with friends, family etc. but they're always there. guys
won't be. they leave. (unless you're married, that's
different) and after they leave, you can cry all you want, but
PLEASE, realize your sense of independence. you don't need
them. you can do better than that. home is not whenever i'm
with you because I DON'T RELY ON MEN to bring me happiness. i,
my family and friends can do that.
