The kiss. It kept running through my head as I drove home. Emma and Kaylen were passed out in the backseat, leaving me to drive all of us home. The kiss.
Two simple words that seemed to last forever. I’m remembering every little detail. He leaned in as to give me a hug, then backed up. He looked me straight in the eyes, and I looked straight into his. I went to turn to open the car door, but he stopped me. He wrapped his big strong arms around my waist, and pulled me close. We just stared for a couple more seconds. Then I felt his lips press against mine. His warm, soft lips caressing mine. It was amazing. I wanted more. I kissed him back harder. He could tell I wanted more. He kissed me harder too. Eventually, it was a full on makeout session. I was floating on cloud nine. He pulled back.
“Hi” he whispered.
“Hi” I whispered back, stifiling a giggle. I bit my bottom lip.
“You better call me now, I loved kissing you.” He says with a wink then walks away back into the stadium.
I hopped into the front seat of the car. And now I’m sitting here on the highway, replaying every little detail in my head.
This was more than I could EVER ask for.
