my best friend got diagnosed with cancer when she was 8 she died when she was 12 all i wanted to do was shave my head for those 4 years but my mom didnt let me untill she died.

I shaved my head when I was 10, my best friend in the whole world, Alexis, was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma (Childhood Bone Cancer), she passed away when I was 12. I'm 15 now and my hair has grown back completely, but just a warning, your head gets realllllly cold when you're bald, so invest in a beanie.. She and I had matching ones, and I still wear mine when I'm cold.

My bestfriend went bald in 5th grade because of a disease, not cancer, and i shaved my head. On the First day of school we proudly walked arm in arm into the school( :
