Each day thousands of kids from the LGBT community get bullied or harassed for having a different sexuality than others. Some are even driven to the point where they commit suicide. Tomorrow is the National Day of Silence, it is a day of action in which students across the country vow to take a form of silence to call attention to the silencing effect of anti-LGBT bullying and harassment in schools. We remain silent to express our voice that the bullying must stop. It's a simple thing to do to help raise awareness, just remain silent all day and wear the color. The color for 2012 is red.
