What I do is close my eyes, hold my breath, and count to 17 when I know it's about to happen (it has to do with a song)... I don't know if yours are different than mine, but if they are similar, then try just focusing on something really simple. Like counting, the alphabet, a song, nursery rhyme, something calm that doesn't require a lot of thought but takes enough mental energy to be a distraction. Or focus on things around the room, like "that door is white, it has a gold doorknob.." etc. That's what I do, and it helps me most of the time. I hope that helped? < 3
