A Happy Ending
(Sequel to a New Beginning)
Chapter 2:
School went by slowly and finally it was lunch. Zack and I barely had any classes together so we don’t get to walk to lunch together. I walked into the cafeteria and went to the lunch buffet. Surprisingly our school has amazing food. I grabbed a turkey club sandwich and then I walked over to where they had the food that was cooked in the oven. I grabbed some French fries and then I got a Pepsi. I went over to the cash register and the lady told me to slide my ID card in the credit card holder. This is how we pay for stuff at school. I left the line and searched the cafeteria for Zack. I found him sitting at a circle table in the center. I walked over to him.
“Hey babe.” He said.
“Hi Zack.” I said.
“How was your morning?” He asked.
“Eh.” I said and Zack laughed.
“Why was it eh?”
“Because it is school it’s never fun.” I said laughing.
“Oh Bella.”
We sat silently due to shoving as much food into our mouths. I was too full to finish so I asked Zack to eat, “Zack I am full can you eat this.” I asked sweetly.
I honestly I have no idea where he puts it. He eats so much all the time and he still manages to stay fit. Luke and Chloe walked over and sat down.
“Hey guys.” I said.
“Hey.” They replied back.
Luckily for Chloe she had pretty much every class with Luke. I had most of my classes with Chloe and Luke too.
“Did you guys already eat?” Zack asked.
“Yea we ate outside.” Luke said.
Then the boys had their own conversation while Chloe and I had our own. Chloe immediately pulled out her physics homework from last night.
“Hey what did you get for number 20? I didn’t finish and we have physics next.” She said.
“Yea I know. You were too busy watching reruns of Family Guy. Here.” I said handing her my homework.
She quickly copied the answer as I joined Luke and Zack’s conversation. The bell rang signaling we had 5 minutes to get to our next class. Luke, Chloe, and I got up and left Zack because our next class was across the school. We walked quickly and arrived in class. I sat in my assigned seat. The warning bell rang and Mr. Tiens walked in. His voiced bored me to death so I quickly zoned out.
