Nobody's Perfect;

Chapter 3

He stopped calling, and I slowly went it to my bed, and I closed my eyes.
I couldn't sleep, but I was really tired; and I had to get up in the morning or else I would get hurt, again.
Oh, well.. it's not the first time I yawned and put my face in the pillow.
My step dad was blasting music wide awake while I was trying to sleep, and I failed.
I closed my eyes multiple times, and slowly fell asleep.
I finally got some rest and the next morning came; I woke up quickly, and my step dad was already complaining how my mom was worthless.
I sheded a tear, I hate when my step dad talks like this to my mother.
She doesn't deserve this, she's so sweet.
I put on clothes, and went downstairs.
I didin't say "Hi" "Good morning" " Bye" or anything, I just left.
I couldn't take listening to my dad.
I seen a huge truck coming to my neighbors house, nobody lives there
"I guess somebody is moving in" I thought to myself
I squinted my eyes, to see what was happening.
A teenage boy came out, he was wearing jeans, and a dragon shirt
My mouth dropped, and I just turned around; and started walking.
I smiled, and bit my bottom lip.
"He's so cute!" I said to myself,
"Who?" I looked back and the first thing I seen was his dark brown eyes.
I smiled, and said "Oh, um. Ye-"
I stuttered, and I was blushing. I was so shy; and he smiled
"What school do you go to?" He asked me, curiously
"Garrison High School"
I paused, and said "It's a long way from here."
"Oh, I know! I go there too." He smiled, and I took a deep breath
"Wanna walk with me?" I asked
"This early? Come look at my new place first!" He positively said
"Oh, Uh.. yeah; I can't. My step dad wont let me"
I tried walking away and he pulled my hand and said
"Oh come on! He wont know, it will be our little secret"
I smiled, and said "Well, okay."
I got nervous at the same time, and he took me inside his house.
His mom was unpacking
"Who's this cute girl?" His mom asked him
"Oh, this is....."
He waited for me to answer,
"Amy" I shyly said
She shook my hand, and I shook her hand;
I looked down because that was always a rule my step dad told me about,
"Brighten up hun!" His mother said
"Did you tell her your name?"
"Oh, my name is Kevin" He smiled, and looked into my eyes. Or at least tried to, my hair was always in my face
" Nice to meet you Kevin"
He showed me around the house, and his dad was in a room unpacking.
"Um, do you guys need help unpacking? I'm use to cleaning" I said, trying to be nice.
"No, we got it." His dad said, 
I felt bad, just standing there doing nothing; Kevin showed me around the whole house, and he took me outside
"I'll drive you to school, Amy. It's a long way"
I smiled, and looked up and I got scared.
He took me by the hand and put me in his car, I looked down; trying not to look up.
"What's wrong?" He said.
"Nothing, I'm just shy" I lied, and I think he knew something was wrong.
But, oh well. I wont tell him or anybody anything.
He seems really sweet though.
