Today in my english class,
 I overheard a girl say, "Oh yeah and emos do that weird
thing where they cut their wrists.. freaky if you ask me."
As soon as I heard that, I turned around and said 'I think the word you're looking for is self harm and no self harm doesn't make someone an emo. It's a serious thing. An emo is a complete different thing. People who self harm, do it as an escape. They have nobody to vent to or share their feelings with so they cut because for a few seconds they forget about the rest of the pain around them. They feel as though it's their only choice, that there is no other way to make the pain go away. They don't do it to be 'emo'. Oh and to add to that listening to rock music, wearing dark eye make up & having depression also does not make someone an emo. So please, think before you speak. You don't know why people do the things they do, you can't hear whats going on in there head.

AMEN !! Anyways... There Are These People That I Know.. They Cut... But They Think That Makes Them "Emo" I Hate When They Cut To Fit Their I Guess Status.. Because I Know Real Cutters And I Hate When They Cut Because I Know How They Feel And It Pains Me To See Another Suffer, But This Chick Went Up To Us And Said: "You Dare Me To Cut?" And This Other Chick Told My Friend To Cut Because It Was I Guess "Cool" For Her And She Wanted Him To Be Like Them... I Mean If You Cut, Have A Purpose.. Dont Do It If You Just Want To Fit Into The "Emo" Catagory, Cause Thats What Those People Are Doing
