"A-are you serious?" I asked Tristen, amazed with the words he just said.
"Yes, Rosaleah! I love you, you're funny, stubborn, and everytime you smile, I just fall for you all over again."
"But Tristen I thought you hated me?"
"No, I just tried hiding my feelings," he ruffled my hair, then smiled.
"You jerk! I thought you hated me!" I laughed, looking him straight in the eyes.
"Do you like me?" Tristen asked, curious for an answer.
"Mmmm, maybe" I smiled and began to run.
"Where are you going?" Tristen yelled at me.
"Follow me!!" I yelled back.
Tristen got up and followed me, I had no clue were I was going.
"So where are we going?" he asked, catching up with me.
"I dunno," I giggled.
"You're going to get us lost dork!" Tristen tackled me to the floor.
"Ow! Are you like a pro football player?" I laughed then realizing he had to be, he was the most popular guy in school, he had to play something.
"Yes, but that doesn't matter, I want to ask you something,"My stomach flipped, I was always nervous whenever a guy would say those words.
"Uh yes?" I replied sounding nervous.
"Rosaleah, do you like me?" I could tell Tristen was nervous for the answer. I wanted to tell him I did so badly, but I didn't know if this was some joke.
Tristen would never see anything in me.
I bit my lip, then decided to tell him the truth, "Yes, I do like you. Ever since I met you."
He smiled then got off me, holding out his hand for me to stand up.
"Rosaleah McClure, will you be my girlfriend?" He smiled that big, gorgeous smile of his, his icy blue eyes shining in the sun.
"Mmmmmm, no," I laughed as I watched his facedrop, "Just kidding! I'd love to be your girlfriend!" 
He held me in for a hug and kissed me, just the way the cute couples I've always been jealous of did.
This has been probably the best day of my life.
It was one of those days I would love to repeat. 
Everything was perfect.
