They all found out who was

“The deserted house”
--One
month earlier—
Mason was packing his stuff for the
beach. He put sun block, a beach ball, and comic books in his
small, red backback and changed from his morning morning clothes to
multicolor beach shorts, a white tank top, and his favorite green
flip-flops.
He then walked to
his mirror. The mirror had many pictures of his best friend, Eric
taped to the sides. He then looked into the mirror and fixed his
hair. Mason has long, blonde, wavy hair and forest green eyes, his
eyes are so attractive, that they can probable attract many girls
with them. But the only girl he wanted to attract was his dream
girl, Emma.
Emma has
such beautiful, shiny hair, that can probably make all the other
girls jealous. She has big, brown eyes which are surrounded by her
long lashes.
“Hey,
Mason! Hellooooo…..Mason!!! Are you day dreaming about Emma
again? You know she doesn’t like you because of your
hair.” Mason turned his neck to see his annoying little
sister, Lancey by his door. As much as Lancey loved to tease
Mason about his hair, he just ignored it.
Lancey laughed and
crossed her arms. “Still, there is no way you can date a girl
like Emma one day.” Mason got mad. Lancey sighed.
“Whatever, Mason, let’s just get it in the car and go
to the beach before is rains.” Lancey walked out of
Mason’s room. Mason followed.
They got in the
car and drove to the beach. “Finally, we’re
here!” said Mason as he grabbed his beach bag and got out of
the car. He searched for the perfect beach spot. He then layed down
on the sand and smiled at the sky. “Ahh….such a
perfect day.” Mason said as he smiled.
Mason lived in
California, the sky is always so blue there, no clouds. Maybe just
a few clouds, but it’s mostly just the sky.
Someone threw sand
on Mason. “What the—?“ He tried getting the sand
off his shirt and and sat up to see who threw it on him. It was
Eric.
“Hey, man!
What’s up?” said Mason as he hugged
Eric.
“Nothing, I can’t believe we’re both at the beach
today! Monday is school again.” Eric frowned at the thought
of no more summer.
“Yeah, I
know, don’t you think—“ Mason looked to his left
and didn’t seem like finishing his
sentence.
“Do I think
what?” Said Eric, confused.
“Check out
that house over there.” Said Mason, as he looked at a really
old-looking house that was halfway down the
ground.
“That house
is haunted!!! No one has lived there for over 50 years and
I’ve been there, I saw a ghost! It was screaming at me
to go away!” Eric seemed serious about what he
said.
Mason was
surprised. He felt the urge to find out more about that
house.
