Before you stop to judge somebody, consider their
situation.
If you don't know what they have to go through on a regular
basis, how do you know their intentions?
You don't.
If you do know the struggle they have to conquer daily, you either
have never experienced anything of that kind, or have forgotten how
hard it is to try and forget the past.
If you don't understand, don't pretend to.
If you do understand, keep your mouth shut.
Either way, mind your own business. Deal with your own problems.
There are other ways to make yourself feel higher that don't
involve hurting others.
