That night, I came back to the house with my mom. Surprisingly, all of the stuff had been fully moved in. Everything was settled down, and I was thinking I could finally get a good night's sleep.
My mom decided otherwise.
As I hopped in the car, I asked where we were going.
"There's a resturaunt I want you to see. I checked it out earlier, when we were moving all of our extra stuff in."
She sped away from the house, and towards the town. When we arrived, I was shocked.
"A pub?" I gasped. Since when was my mom interested in going to pubs?
"Yes." She answered. "I'm thinking...it's time for you to let loose a little bit. I know you've been taught to be a beautiful young woman all of your life, but maybe...you can relax a little bit."
"Mom," I said. "I don't want to relax. This is not my lifestyle! I love going to fancy resturaunts."
She ignored my remark, and got out of the car and walked inside, me following behind. The hostess sat us down in the small dining area of the resturaunt. I could tell by the smell that it was not smoke free. I knew I'd be smelling that way when I left. A shower would be mandatory when I got back home.
A familiar someone showed up, asking for our order.
"Hi, can I get you any drinks tonight? My name's Cole."
"You're the one that talked to me earlier today! You work...   here  ?" Although I didn't mean it that way, it came out sounding like an insult. "I...I'm sorry, I didn't - "
 "No, no." Cole said. "It's okay. You probably didn't expect me to have a job at all. So, about those drinks?"
My mother and I ordered our drinks, and throughout the night, had some good laughs with Cole. Though, she didn't seem very fond of him.
After my mother paid, she went outside to the car while I went to the bathroom. When I got out, she was gone. I was worried. Where could she have went? I scanned the parking lot for the car, but it was just not there.
"I told your mom I would give you a ride." Said a voice from behind me.
"...Don't you have work?" I asked, curious.
"No, my shift just ended. You're new here, I thought I'd show you around?"
"That would be nice. Thank you."
He chuckled and grinned a charming smile.
"What?" I asked.
"Why do you talk like that?" He asked teasingly.
"I'm sorry, I don't understand?"
"Like that. So...proper."
"I've always talked this way. Yes, it's proper, isn't that the English language though?"
"Yeah, but no one these days talks like that...except for you."
I laughed with him at the statement, and walked down further into the town. We kept up small talk, and I liked learning about him. I was so amused by the lights, and the...action occurring, out in the town. It was so...free.


Sorry it took a long time to get out, I'm just lazy. Anyways, you got to know Cole a little bit, you saw some of his personality. The next chapter will either be out tonight, if I feel like it, or tomorrow. [[As of 1-10-12]] Thanks, fave and follow, I WILL follow back.
