Introduction

Avery Madison.
To you, it's just a name. To me, it's a threat.
Ever since kindergarten, everything had been a competition between the two of us. Who had better crayons, who brought better things for show and tell, who had cooler birthday parties.
When I moved from New York to California, I didn't have to worry about her anymore. That is until she showed up at my school in California.

Most of you are thinking so what, there's no way you you're going to be competing over crayons, show and tell, or birthday parties anymore.
And those of you who think that, you're right.
But 9th grade was a completely different game, with different competions, and different ways to defeat eachother.
Who had nicer clothes, who had prettier makeup, who had a higher popularity status, who had a cuter boyfriend.

Avery and I have a lot in common actually. But the problem is, we have too much in common.
We liked the same clothes, hairstyles, makeup brands, and worst of all, we liked the same guys.
Ever since the day I met Avery, I tried to be friends with her.
But somethings arn't worth putting the effort into.
For example, Avery Madison.

Everything we get involved with together, turns into a revolution,
a competition,
